The Return of Jermz

I wanted to throw something together since it has been months since I’ve posted a blog. Erin hassles me about it all the time; always nagging to write a new blog and my usual response is "I will, when I have time." Well, I have a minute or so...

Today was a pretty hectic day for me; I started off by going into Best Buy this morning to find out that I have to be there next Saturday at 7am for a store meeting. I'm not sure why I even bother going to them because I only work one day a week (if that). I enjoy working there because I get a mean discount and the extra cash is always a plus. The job itself is awesome but the people I work with are a bunch of pain in the asses. The boss man there doesn't ever work and he feels that he shouldn't have to work. I looked at the calendar today to see when my next day requested off was and noticed that one of my other co-workers had requested off 14 days out of the month of 30 days; WTF? He's a full timer and works almost as much as me; the weekend worrier. Enough about Best Buy...

My personal life is awesome right now; for those who may not know Erin and I just got a puppy a few weeks ago. She is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and her name is Lucy; I'm pretty attached to her. I never thought of myself much of a dog person but I absolutely love our new addition.

Tomorrow I'm off to Atlantic City for a trade show this week. I'm looking forward to potentially gaining new customers and generating some revenue for the company. The trade show is being put on by a distributor we just picked up thanks to Shane, my salesman.

I feel pretty bad for many of my friends and my family for the fact I received 5 phone calls inviting Erin and I to hang out and do things with each of them. I did my best to see most of the people that had invited me to hang out; even if it was just for a minute while I slammed a delicious steak. I do enjoy hanging out and doing things with my family and my friends but I also have obligations that I need to fulfill. I hope I didn't offend anybody this evening for not being around a lot but I had to get things done before I leave for the trade show tomorrow. Well its 2:35am and I’m pretty beat... Look for my next blog hopefully it will not be as long of a wait.

The Latest and Greatest from the Adventures of Jermz

I would like to apologize to my followers for not having been up-to-date on my blog I've been pretty busy and haven't had a chance to write a blog but I found some time to put together a few entertaining thoughts.

Let’s start from when I last posted a piece; Halloween was fun Erin and I went to Fellspoint in Baltimore as pirates... well kinda she looked more like Captain Morgan and well, I was just your average pirate. After Halloween the next major annual event would be Thanksgiving; Erin and I made it over to my brother and sister-in-law's apartment in Pikesville; my parents were there as well. We had a lot of fun; we played a game that called "The Game of Things." This game of "Things" turned out to be uncomfortable things such as "Pearl Necklaces;" my face was red pretty much the whole time during this game. After Thanksgiving with my family we headed over to Erin's Grandmother's house and had dinner number 2. There I was able to watch my Cowboys walk all over the Seahawks. We left and went home from there and I had to go to bed early due to the fact that I work at Best Buy and it was Black Friday the next morning.

This brings us to today... I'm still trying my hardest to sell more water. I'm making small accomplishments every day; my dad ordered a pallet for his company which is really awesome. Erin and I are still car pooling to work every day which is so-so... I'm not a fan of anyone early in the morning; I like to listen to the news on the radio and relax on the way into the office.

Last night Erin and I watched How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory; they were both pretty funny. The best part about it was that Erin was right there next to me during the whole evening.

Erin is now on Face Book and cannot believe my dad has a Face Book account... (I thought there was an age limit to face book which Danielle and Will are playing with that line)Well that is all for now I hope you all enjoyed the catch up blog and hopefully my next post will be more entertaining. Thanks for reading!

Halloween Dilemma

To continue on from yesterday’s blog about Erin vs. the Flies... Erin thinks that flies are "thrill seekers." She said "If there are 2 of them they will fly into a room and a see which one lives, it's their form of Russian roulette."

Erin and I have plans to go to Fells point with a group of our friends for Halloween. Unfortunately we don't have plans for a costume and Halloween is but a week away. We've had many ideas for what we could go as. We thought about Cops and Robbers, King and Queen, Gangsters, Batman & Robin, and finally Cowboy & Cowgirl. We have yet to order our costumes and I'm not sure if we will have costumes in time. I originally like the idea as Indiana Jones (He's a bad ass) but Erin didn't like that idea much. I also really like the idea of Cowboy and Cowgirl but it seems to be a cowboy you need to be willing to spend about $200 on a costume you would probably only wear once. I just can't seem to grasp the concept on spending a ton of money on a costume you will only wear for a few hours.

Last night Erin and I had to run a few errands. I first went to the dry cleaners and picked up some of my clothes and also dropped off some; doing so I've broken a personal record. The most money spent at a dry cleaner in one week. The clothes I picked up were only about $10, and the clothes I dropped off are going to be $86. Then I thought to myself "Damn!!! That’s a lot of coin to do laundry!" After the cleaners we ran to Best Buy and Target (Erin wanted more Halloween decorations). When we got to Target Erin decided she wanted to go shopping for clothes and everything else we weren't there for. When we were almost finished at Target and close to the checkout there was a page over the intercom that said "Erin Kellough please come to the customer service desk." My first thought was "did she drop a damn credit card or something?" So we started walking to the service desk and it was a few of our friends. Needless to say it was Erin's friend and her fiancĂ©. Erin and her friend decided they wanted to shop for another hour while Brian, Erin's friend's FiancĂ©, and I walked around the electronic department. Once the ladies were finally finished shopping we all went to Cold Stone for some ice cream (wasn't my idea). I got the chocolate peanut butter mash up in a large cup. This wasn't my brightest idea; I later had a stomach ache.

Day 2 of Being a Blogger

Last night Erin's grandmother's boyfriend turned 90 years old (yeah that's old), and the family was having cake and ice cream at her grandmother's house. Unfortunately I couldn't go because I really needed a haircut and had to take care of so many other things before my big meeting on Friday. So, amazingly Erin didn't force me to go with her to her grandmother's house. I managed to get my hair cut and pack my PS3 up (it's broken and I need to send it back to Sony to have it fixed). I also worked on my marketing material for my meeting. I'm very excited about this meeting and have high hopes of growing my business with a new distributor.

When Erin returned home from her grandmother's house she wanted to bake pumpkin seeds, and I wasn't too enthused with this because I was ready for bed. Being the good boyfriend that I am I stayed up with her so that she could bake these damn seeds. Once she was finished we went up stairs and watched "How I Met Your Mother." I really enjoyed the time I spent with Erin last night and hope I have many more nights like that. If you were unaware of the show "How I Met Your Mother" it is the jam and everybody should really check it out. Erin and I've been watching together for the last couple of years and we really enjoy our "shows" together.

Now I am at work, and I just got out of a meeting with a guy from ABF (a freight company). Erin is now freaking out about the flies in the office and it’s quite entertaining. She’s bouncing around trying to swat the files with rolled up paper. Once she hits one she keeps hitting the same one to make sure it’s dead... I'm pretty sure if I were hitting the flies it would only take one hit to kill them.

I am a blogger (for) now...

To people who had jokes about me blogging "HERE IT IS BITCHES." This is my first blog....ever and maybe my last; who knows? Erin finally convinced me to do this so here it is. My brother knows me pretty well. He was correct about my blogging topics. Some would be about how I believe The Office is the jam, and how much I love my guns (firearms and my arms). They would also be about my family being pretty legit, and how Erin means the world to me, although I want to strangle her at times. Another topic maybe about my job and how it can be pretty interesting at times and other times not so much. My entertainment topics would be about music, movies, and books. I'm a fan of music (I've been into Country music lately), movies are good times (require no energy for the most part and are pretty entertaining most of the time), I can read contrary to popular belief; I like books about gadgets, outlaws, and anything that will make me laugh. (SUCK IT BRO). However my brother is wrong about a few things, I wouldn't talk about my love life on the web...just not happening. Also, he's wrong about the world embracing me for my Jock Strap Rash, never had a jock strap rash. They would just have to embrace me for what’s within the Jock Strap...But I wouldn't want anyone getting a man crush on me or anything such as that. (Love ya Bro)
